History The Scottish Cyclists' Union (SCU) was founded in 1889 and reconstituted in 1952, giving the SCU over 100 years experience in the sport of cycling.
Objectives The SCU is an integral part of the BCF encouraging and governing all aspects of Cycle Sport in Scotland. Whether mountain biking, road racing, time-trialling, cyclo-cross or track racing, with over 100 clubs and 320 events per annum there is something in the SCU for you.
The SCU runs the Scottish Cycling Teams and structured coaching activities allowing the opportunities to follow the tracks of famous Scots such as Tour de France, King of the Mountains, Robert Millar and former World Champion, Graeme Obree.
