We reviewed the original and continuing Rido R2 saddle exactly two years ago and the only thing we disliked about it once we got used to the unusual appearance was its heft at 480 grams. The carbon-railed model they promised at the time is apparently still in the works but meanwhile this new slimmer RLt - for titanium - is a heck of an improvement at 230g while maintaining the same 'topography' to help shift stress off yer perineum, as they claim. Black is a no-brainer but white and yellow options will help to make this evidently 'anatomic' saddle a bit more at home on sleek racers. £67.50 doesn't seem out of line.
