Web MD - Numbing genitals

dtedford:
"About 3 weeks ago I purchased an exercise bike and after I ride it, my penis and testicles feel like they are numb. This lasts for a few minutes after I am done riding the bike and then its gone. I used to go to a gym and ride the bike and never had a problem with this until I bought my own. Could this be the seat or the way I sit on the bike or is it an actual problem??"

John-SKPT:

"I can't be sure but it sounds like the seat is pressing on the perineum in a way that either is pressing on a nerve , or perhaps somewhat more seriously, compressing an artery and restricting blood flow.
I'd try adjusting the seat to positions where this doesn't happen, or else get a different seat. I've got a stationary bike and the seat was just awful. Eventually I was able to get it adjusted ok, but it took a while and a lot of tinkering to get it right."

Diggerj:
"Yep it is the seat my friend. Change it to one of the new types that are anatomically designed to cater for our wedding tackle:
