“I think I have found my saddle now for LEJOG”

“I have paid the balance today and will post back the R2 saddle tomorrow morning. I tried the Lt out this weekend and no numbness or strain on the hands, neck and shoulders. Just a little sore on the sit bones as not used to such a firm saddle. I will get used to it I’m sure. I think I have found my saddle now for LEJOG. Thanks for all your help.”

“Just to let you know I completed LEJOG with no saddle or neck and arms issues. The RLt really got me through it. Thanks, Darren”

“To celebrate my 50th birthday I decided to do Lejog. Initially I thought the scale of the challenge might be too big. It turned out finding a saddle that I could ride for more than 2 hours was a bigger challenge. I ended up trying 7 different saddles including 2 saddle fittings. Eventually 2 weeks before the event I purchased the Lt. Thank God I did, it got me through 980 miles with no numbness at all.”

“I can feel a difference here that I was truly hoping for”

“I wanted to give a little followup. Last year I purchased both an R2 and Lt saddle to try on my touring bike. I ended up using the R2 first and it’s been fantastic… went over the Rocky Mountains on it.

Following your advice I mounted the Lt on my Warbird and fitted it “nose horizontal” to the ground and the difference is drastic. I only pedaled it around the street briefly without cycling shorts but I can feel a difference here that I was truly hoping for.

A world of difference compared to the Enduro saddle. It’ll take some further tweaking, but this is a much better saddle for road rides. There’s no long re-adjustments when I stand up in the pedals and sit back down. The pressure is just on the sit bones. Initial trial is ‘I like it’. I’ll find the perfect angle as I go, but yeah, this is SO much better. It’ll make the summer a lot faster.”

I also took the opportunity to tweak the R2 on my touring bike. I had it set up wrong, as I leveled it from front to back and not JUST the nose. Oops. So now it’s properly leveled. It’s a lot more comfortable now, and it’ll be fun to ride it over the summer on my weekender tours.
Thank you VERY much again.”

My third and newest @RIDOcycling saddle. Best saddle out there”

“I just got the saddle and took it on a 20 km test ride. It is an instant fit!
It also felt really good instantly and confirms all the claims you make.”

“Hello from Switzerland!
I recently was looking for a new saddle for my race bike since I was suffering from pain and numbness with my previous saddle (despite it being a comfort model). I researched the topic and came about your saddles. What I read convinced me to give it a try.

So I reached out to a dealer in Switzerland (Onncycle) that seemed to offer the range and ordered an Rido Lt in white. The dealer then said he was no longer importing them due to some custom hassles. But he offered to sell me a silver Test saddle with orange writing (brand new in box) for a reduced price, the only saddle he had left.

I just got the saddle and took it on a 20 km test ride. It is an instant fit! What a relief, no numbness finally! It also felt really good instantly and confirms all the claims you make.

But now, I really want the saddle in white to match colors on my bike and I would then have the silver test saddle sitting around gathering dust. So, I wanted to ask you if I could send the test saddle back to you (in spotless condition), so you can make some use of it lending it to prospects and in turn order a white RLt. with a rebate instead?
If that is feasible, I might even order a 2nd saddle but I need to know which model you would recommend for a MTB? Would it also be the LT. or the R2? On the MTB I do mainly gravel roads and forest trails, pretty laid back riding.

I am looking forward to hear back from you soon!
Many thanks and best regards.”

“I’m really pleased!”

Hi John,

Absolutely happy to provide some feedback!
I know that generally, people only review when they are either really dissatisfied or really pleased. In this case, I’m really pleased!

I’ve been road cycling for about 6 years now, and been through quite a few saddles in pursuit of the right fit for me…wasting a lot of money in the process.

I used to suffer with quite a bit of numbness, discolouration and loss of sensitivity, down below – which was not great, and actually quite worrying.

To cut a long story short, your Lt saddle has completely stopped all of the above issues.
To look at the saddle, I wouldn’t have thought the it would have been quite so effective, but it’s that subtle double ramp up at the rear of the saddle that raises the
sit bones and soft tissue that really does the trick.

So, I’m very pleased to be able to head out on long rides without fear of compromising my manhood!

I’ve attached a few photos.
Thank you!
Best regards

“Knocked eight minutes off my best time. As nothing else has changed it can only be the saddle.”

“Hi, Just a quick email to say that I’ve been riding mainly indoors this winter using Zwift and a couple of months ago I had a raised PSA test. I’ve had all the tests and go back in August and have been told not to ride my bike for 2 weeks before the blood test as my results may be affected.

I posted on social media and had positive responses from all over the world and as a result bought a Rido 2 for the turbo bike, Cannondale 6 Carbon. I’ve got on with the saddle but wanted a sportier look so I bought a R-Lt which I fitted this morning. Without any changes to the settings I tested the saddle on the Zwift Central Park loop course and knocked 8 minutes off my best time. As nothing else has changed it can only be the saddle.

I’m going for a bike fit tomorrow which is why the saddle change so it will be interesting to see what effect that has.
Many thanks, John”

“… perfectly comfortable and certainly reduces pressure from the prostate area”

“Aside from the technical challenge of changing saddles (!), I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my new Rido saddle which I find perfectly comfortable and certainly reduces pressure from the prostate area. I don’t know whether or not it’s had a marked difference on the condition of my prostate but I guess that every little bit helps!
I’m a 68 year old leisure cyclist averaging about 50 miles a week with some bigger trips thrown in! I just love the freedom of the road and the health and fitness benefits of regular cycling. And your saddle has definitely enhanced the experience.
Thanks for taking the trouble to focus on the issue and for asking for my feedback.
Best wishes, Jeremy”

“The Rido has done the job of being light and very comfortable especially taking pressure off the front part of the sit bones.”

“The saddle had a reasonably good press write up in Triathlon magazine so hence the purchase.
The saddle itself after a little of getting used to it, as it’s different from my previous fizik saddle, the Rido has done the job of being light and very comfortable especially taking pressure off the front part of the sit bones.

Very pleased!
Thanks

My perineum still thanks you!”

“I am delighted to share my experiences with you. Following semi-retirement in 2016 I started to ride most days – even if only for an hour. I very quickly (even on my treasured Brooks Colt which I had ridden since the late 1980s) developed a very numb perineum.

After a little research I decided to try your R2 saddle. My perineum was delighted. After a month I bought another for my winter bike. Both are as good as new after 4 years and the summer one has done at least 15,000km underneath approximately 100kg.

Last summer I bought a Rido Lt for a new bike on which I rode from London to Rome in the second half of October. That saddle did 6,000km between July and the end of November including the 2,000km two week ride to Rome. I wasn’t expecting it from such a light and ’normal’ looking saddle but it was a comfortable as the R2.

My perineum still thanks you!
Regards, Paul B.”

“Second LT saddle here….. very happy with it.  Great product!”

“I guess it’s very much a case of each to their own, but your LT has worked wonders for me, for which I am very grateful.”

“I’m more than happy to offer feedback on my experience. Unlike many other requests for feedback, I sense this is genuine and of value to you!

I’ve been a road cyclist for about 6 years now, I tend to do 2 – 3 rides a week, averaging about 30 miles per ride, I’d say. I like to venture off on longer rides, time and weather permitting. I’m 47 years old, so my main goals are mental and physical fitness. I’m 6ft 3” tall and weigh 96.5Kg, so I guess I’m on the bigger side for a road cyclist.

I currently have 2 bikes; a new 2021 Trek Domane SL6 (my comfy, winter bike) and a 2017 BMC TeamMachine SLR02 (the fast thoroughbred for finer weather), both bikes are fitted with your LT saddles. The best compliment could give you, is that I have stopped looking for saddles now.

I first fitted an LT saddle to my BMC in July 2019, and as soon as I got my new Trek in August 2020, I swapped the stock saddle for an LT. They just work for me. I must have tried 6 – 8 different types of saddles, with different cut outs and lumps and bumps en route to the LT.

My issue was numbness, soreness and loss of blood flow to the perineum, and genital area, which was disconcerting. I didn’t want to stop riding, but then again, I didn’t want to cause long term damage to myself ‘downstairs’.

“The big difference the LT saddles made for me was lifting the soft tissue areas away from the saddle by directly supporting my sit bones. The other saddles seemed to focus on providing clearance for soft tissue, rather than lifting you away from the contact area.”

I guess it’s very much a case of each to their own, but your LT has worked wonders for me, for which I am very grateful.

I’m certainly an advocate of your products. In fact, if you had cycling jerseys with your logo on, I’d proudly fly the flag for you! (as long as the colour scheme matched my bikes 😉)”

“Thank you for checking in! I got my Rido saddle to alleviate numbness and minor men’s health issues.
The saddle alleviates all numbness incredibly well.
Thanks!”

“My brother in-law has one and I think several members of the family have too”

“Got into (proper) cycling in 2012/3 and always found my “MOST” saddle horrendous, but then again I did have a lack of rear end padding.
Your saddle (yellow one) has been on the bike ever since and it is very comfortable (for a saddle). My brother in-law has one and I think several members of the family have too.
Keep me posted on any mods/improvements, always up for a new idea.”
