History
Formed in 1967 as the English Schools Cycling Association, to encourage and promote the participation of school children in cycling either as a sport or leisure activity. Renamed the British Schools Cycling Association in December 1997.
Objectives
BSCA seeks to encourage the participation of school children in leisure and competitive cycling activities across all disciplines of cycling, with Area, National and International events. BSCA also provide leader courses across several disciplines for adults interested in safe cycling with children.
