History
AUK was formed in 1976 to register and validate qualifying randonnees with Audax Club Parisien so that British cyclists could ride the 1200 km Paris-Brest-Paris.
Objectives
AUK aims to promote non-competitive long distance cycling. The club represents the International Randoneurs in the UK and annually runs over three hundred events including 200, 300, 400 and 600km randonnees and shorter introductory rides, for which nationally and internationally recognised awards may be claimed.
